MTRT has had a very successful weekend of racing

Full reports to follow but the news so far is great for the team and shows that the future is good!

image-16Jack Nash had a storming coupe of days, on Saturday he took 4th Junior place in the Welsh Criterium Championships – that was 12th over all! Well done Jack – what a season – in Jacks words “One of the hardest crit races he’s done”. He finished off the weekend today with heavy legs at the North Wales Cyclocross Rd1 taking 2nd Junior and 3rd over all.

Chris Mann took the win (juvenile) at the Welsh Championship Hill Climb today. A fantastic result that placed him 2nd junior and a very impressive 6th over all. All this was done on his dad’s bike after experiencing a show stopping mechanical! Well done Chris, a top result and a national title well deserved. All those 2×2 hill reps are paying off.

Tom Davies raced in theWelsh Criterium Championships he came in a very respectful 18th youth place. Tom has been going from strength to strength and his results this season have been fantastic. A very strong ride in the National Champs.

Layla Bradbrook made a storming start to the CX season in the U12s north Wales cyclocross series race.20160918_122221-1 She was 4th over all and first girl. (and she’s still U10, look out!). What a start to the CX season for Layla.

image-18-09-2016-at-21-00Holly Bradbrook also had fantastic start to the CX season getting the win in the U14 girls and she kept in touch with u16s girls for a while! All that training is paying off and a solid start at race 1 of the north Wales cyclocross series in Mold.
